Our scope of services
Rely on Fire Check were appointed by Wiggett Group to undertake survey, design and technical support services for the upgrade of fire detection and fire alarm systems across a portfolio of HMOs and houses converted to flats in London, on behalf of Clarion Housing Group.
The appointment involved carrying out detailed site surveys to assess existing fire alarm installations and identify compliance shortfalls against current British Standards, and local authority requirements. Particular focus was placed on ensuring that system strategies were appropriate to the occupancy type, building configuration and risk profile of each property.
Based on the survey findings, Rely on Fire Check developed Grade A Fire Detection & Fire Alarm system designs tailored to each building, ensuring full compliance with BS 5839-1 & BS 5839-6, and Clarion Housing Group’s employer requirements and specifications. Design documentation was produced to support approval, installation and future system management.
This structured, compliance-led approach supported Clarion Housing Group in meeting their statutory duties as a housing provider, improving life safety standards across their residential assets and providing assurance to local authorities that fire alarm systems were designed in line with current legislation, guidance and best practice.
