Our scope of services
Rely on Fire Check were appointed by SES Engineering Services, the appointed subcontractor to Wates Construction, to provide fire detection and fire alarm design and consultancy services for the Riverstone Bishops Avenue development, a later-living residential scheme for over 65s located in Hampstead, London N2.
Our initial appointment was to undertake the design of the Grade D fire detection and fire alarm systems to RIBA Stage 4 for the 93 residential units. This included the development of a fully compliant detailed design, coordination within the apartment layouts, and the production of supporting design documentation to facilitate technical approval.
As a FireAngel partner, Rely on Fire Check specified FireAngel products for the project, resulting in their use throughout the residential apartments to meet the project’s fire safety and compliance requirements.
In addition to the dwelling systems, Rely on Fire Check also provided consultancy services in relation to the communal life safety systems. This included technical guidance and compliance reviews of subcontractor design packages for systems such as Fire Detection & Fire Alarm and Emergency Voice Alarm, ensuring alignment with the relevant standards and overall fire strategy.
Rely on Fire Check further undertook site surveys of the fire alarm installations, providing technical support and advisory input to assist with compliant installation and the successful delivery of the systems on site.
